Puma King Pro MxSG
Control the game with ease wearing PUMA King Pro MxSG football boots in Puma Black/Puma White, featuring an innovative upper material that’s more comfortable than ever.
It’s not K-leather, it’s K-BETTER. Made with recycled content, K-BETTER provides the same softness as traditional materials and yet is significantly thinner, offering a close-to-ball feel for an intuitive touch. It’s stretchier too, so the boot adapts to the contours of your foot and then retains its shape, giving you a perfect fit that lasts for longer. The padded collar and knitted tongue ensure slip-on comfort, combining with a streamlined lacing system to keep you locked in.Forefoot and midfoot micro-texturing amplifies your control, and “Since 1968” is subtly incorporated at the rearfoot, recognising the King’s first introduction and its historic status in the game.Underneath, the lightweight soleplate helps you maintain your poise, while conical studs see you effortlessly turn away from opponents. When you wear the King, you decide the fate of the match. How you do it, well, that’s up to you.
Boot Class = Club
King
Its origins go back to 1966 and the creation of the “Wunderschuh” that Eusebio wore at the World Cup. Prior to the tournament, the Portuguese star had spoken to PUMA founder Rudi Dassler and requested a boot that was softer and more flexible than the stiff designs of the time. He got his wish and used the PUMA Wembley, as it was known, to notch nine goals and finish as top scorer.
Two years later, taking advantage of Eusebio’s rise to prominence, PUMA crowned their man and released the King Eusebio, which was even more flexible and used non-slip nylon screw studs for extra grip – a king of a boot for a king of a player.
In 1970, the King was established enough to go its own way, without the need for a famous player’s name to boost its rep. By then, stars of the game were queueing up to wear the legendary leather boot. First perhaps the greatest of all, Pele, then later Cruyff, Maradona, Dalglish, and Matthaus. If they’re an icon, there’s a good chance they wore the King.
More recently, the King has been fine-tuned for control, updated with modern technology to make sure its renowned feel on the ball is maintained in today’s game. It’s even made the transition away from leather, using non-animal-based materials such as K-BETTER to improve sustainability and ensure the King’s reign continues for years to come.
Puma
PUMA’s football history goes back over 70 years, and the list of legendary players that have chosen to wear them is just as long. To name only a few, we’re talking Eusebio, Pele, Maradona, Matthaus. And now, Neymar Jr.
All five have wowed spectators wearing perhaps the most iconic boot of all: the PUMA King. Having been tweaked and refined over the years since its introduction in 1968, the King’s now available in a lighter, more streamlined design that’s engineered for modern playmakers.
The PUMA range also includes the agile Future and the superfast Ultra, both of which use the latest tech to provide lightweight performance that lets your skills shine.

Ground Type Guide
Selecting the correct sole plate for the surface you are playing on is crucial, not only for the performance and longevity of your football boots, but also to avoid the risk of injury.
Using an outsole that isn't designed specifically for the surface on which you are playing may cause premature wear and/or damage that will not be deemed as a fault of manufacture and will prevent the retailer accepting them for a refund or exchange.
Soft Ground
Soft Ground (SG) soleplates are specifically designed for use on wet and soft to very soft natural grass pitches that may also be muddy and/or waterlogged. Used worldwide, mainly during winter months, boots made for soft ground have removable, replaceable screw-in studs that can be plastic, entirely metal, or metal-tipped and typically come in a six-stud configuration – four at the forefoot, two slightly longer at the heel.
